An amusing article.

Wait—You still don’t own a 3D TV?! What exactly are you spending your money on? This is America, pal, and if you don’t bend over and buy the newest toy on the block first, then you may as well be living in Burundi!

Okay, money’s an issue. But Panasonic now has an absolute steal for you tight-wallets out there! The company, the first to make “the first 3D TV retail sale at a Best Buy store in New York in March,” is going to give you the 3D Blu-ray of Coralinewhen you purchase their 3D-ready HDTV. That’s right—give!

The set, a Viera VT25 series plasma, retails for {ahem}$2,600. Which sounds like a lot, right? That is until we point out that they also come with one (1) pair of 3D Active Shutter Lens Eyewear!

“There may be a couple of times that are considered game changers in the industry, and this is that moment for home entertainment.” - Mary Daily, EVP, marketing, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment

We couldn’t agree less.

What do you Schmoes think? Is this one of the worst attempts to con movie fans out of more than $2500? Or have you already made your way to Best Buy?
